Hi! My name is Tori (she/her), and I am 26 years old living in Brooklyn, New York.

This is my first time putting some of my words on the internet (with my name attached.) Please give me grace as I navigate this, I have no idea what I am doing.

About me’s are notoriously difficult, and while I am a fan of ice-breakers (an unpopular opinion, I know) I find listing facts about me to be much harder.

So on that confident note, here are some points to get to know me:

1. I am from the suburbs of New York City, but moved to Florida for college. I moved back to New York and live in NYC currently!
2. I love concerts and festivals – essentially live music in any form
3. I am a cat dad (as in my roommate has a cat, and I happen to call myself her father)
4. I love car rides and falling asleep in the passenger seat
5. I am a night owl, and love spending the first several hours of my weekend mornings in my bed
6. I love to snowboard but am not too fond of the snow
7. Please do not ask me my favorite places in NYC, I have no answers for that
8. …except for my favorite ramen spot
9. I don’t like making decisions for my fear of bad suggestions (we’re working on that)
10. I’m an extrovert at heart, and try to see the good in everyone that comes my way

This blog is meant to be a bit of an outlet more than anything. I will be writing about the bits and pieces of myself, memories I recall, the layers of myself that made me who I am, and who I continue to grow to be.
